First things first, these are all canons I adore and want fic in, so I’m going to be a happy camper regardless of whichever you end up writing.
As far as tone goes, I generally like something roughly in the same ballpark as canon (if you’re worried err on the side of lighter), it doesn’t need to be pastiche and I don't mind if a story goes dark places, but I need there to be some degree of levity and alight at the end of the tunnel (that's not a train).
General likes:
- femslash, especially with a good dose of foeyay and power struggles
- smut!
- aggressive/rough sex that both parties are into it
- playful/informal kink
- competence kink
- fail-sex that still ends up pleasurable/fun for those involved
- praise kink
- humour
- characters reacting to absurd situations with complete seriousness and sincerity
- AUs, both canon divergent and some tropey ones, crossovers
- happy/hopeful/bittersweet endings
- playing with structure (5 things, epistolary fic, etc)
- worldbuilding
- fucked up relationships that know they're fucked up
General DNW: overwhelming angst, unrelenting darkness, downer endings, issuefic, identity headcanons, deathfic, rape as drama/backstory, non-canon child abuse, omegaverse, bodily fluids, "formalised" kink/BDSM, humiliation, detailed gore.
Killjoys
Characters requested: Dutch, Aneela
My id craves aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the messed up, mindfucky, pseudoincestous (actually incestous?) dirtywrongbadhot femslash, please and thank you.
Or fill in the blank backstory, or compare and contrast character studies, those are good too.

Yeah, so I have a bit of a dopplecest kink and a bit of villainess bad-touching the plucky young heroine kink, so Dutch and Aneela is a set-up that is very, very good for my id, even if little things like special-effects budgets, or y’know, the plot, meant it didn’t actually go there. But that’s what fic is for! :D
As far as some potential scenarios go, maybe Aneela managed to nab Dutch before the latter found/unlocked the Remnant and things go from there, or just because Aneela got her memories back and doesn’t want to kill Dutch any more doesn’t necessarily mean she’s going to interact with her in healthier ways, or perhaps Khlyen and Aneela decide the to skip the whole memory erasure plan, she stays involved in raising bitty Yala/Dutch and things take a very awkward turn once adulthood hits. Or whatever you come up with.
I’m good with non-con and dub-con scenarios, though if you do go full-on non-con, I’d prefer Aneela to be coming from a place of possessiveness and ‘boundaries are for other people’ than trying to punish Dutch, if you get what I mean. Additionally, while I do ship Dutch/Delle Seyah (and received a wonderful Dutch/Delle Seyah fic a few years back when last I did Yuletide) and love what they did with Aneela/Delle Seyah in season three, I’d like if she wasn’t a participant in sexytimes that go down. Though she can watch. She’d be into it.
If, however, you are not into it, given that damaged space bounty hunters and their dangerously unbalanced parthenogenetic green goo clone-donors is something of a niche pairing, I am legit interested in fic covering bits of backstory we weren’t shown, or in compare and contrast character studies, like how Aneela first discovered she could bring things out of the Green, or Khlyen’s POV of Aneela vs Dutch at various ages. Like there’s a lot of ground that could be covered, and I do find something incredibly tragic in that this whole mess started because Khlyen tried to be a good parent and protect his kid only for everything to turn up Hullen.
If we didn’t match on this, but are intrigued by my ramblings, all three seasons of Killjoys aretheoretically streamable for US folks on the Syfy website or available through *cough* other means.

Outside Xbox is a youtube channel that along with its spin off channel Outside Xtra, focuses on various video game videos like let’s plays, discussions, and top n lists (so many lists) and it is a fucking delight. All the hosts, both the original Oxbox crew (Jane, Andy, and Mike) and the Oxtra newbie (Luke and Ellen) are adorable like puppies, and it’s just a joy to watch.
And I would like a fic about therecurring joke “fact” that both Ellen and Luke not only write self-insert Oxbox fan-fic, but then steal and judge each other’s fic. Now whether that’s coming up with the fic itself, or using the writing and stealing as a framework for other shenanigans, or both, I’m not fussed.
Feel free to run with tropes, I’d prefer sticking the lighter side of things, because this is a very happy place fandom for me, but seriously, go wild. Crossovers, fusions, daemon AUS, superhero AUs, spy AUs, coffee shop AUs, high school AUs, IN SPACE AUs, high school students working at a coffee shop IN SPACE AUs, song fic, five things, whatever ridic thing you can think of.
I don’t really ship anything,except maybe Luke/Ellen and Ellen/Jane the tinest bit but I don’t not ship anything either, so I’m cool with whatever, and while I definitely don’t want smutfic, if you want to lean into some old school smarm tropes, I won’t say no to that.
And I really, really mean it about including Andy, Mike, and Jane as much or as little as you want to, like, seriously, if what your muse moves you to write is 1k of the adventures of Mike the Orange Racecar Who Inevitably Catches On Fire, then follow that muse to its fiery conclusion.
Quacks
Characters requested: Caroline Lessing
Between the crossdressing and the captivation with paintings of naked women there arises the potential of Caroline's awkward and amazing trainwreck of a bisexual awakening, and I want it so, so bad.
So, Quacks. Quacks is (very) recent BBC comedy about the misadventures of a small group of daring medical professionals, with a massive emphasis on the mis because because it’s set in the mid-1880s, and thus our heroes are hampered by things like large swatches of medical science not being invented yet, or the possession of a female reproductive system.
It’s both very smart and very silly, and I’m utterly charmed by it, and especially Caroline who deserves all the nice things...like respect. And orgasms. Lots of orgasms.
As to how she get’s thought orgasms, we’ll she does want to open a women’s clinic in an era where pelvic massage was a “legitimate” treatment for hysteria, just saying. Or maybe she reconnects with an old school friend who really wants to reconnect. Maybe her crossdressing adventures take a sexy turn as crossdressing adventures are wont to do. Maybe it’s Florence Nightingale’s Sexy Yet Ill-Thought Out Revenge Scheme. I’m easy.
I would like you not to demonise Robert in all this, he’s flawed and kind of a terrible husband, but he’s not evil. If you really need him out of the way, just have Caroline decide to get that divorce after all or something. However given her affair with William basically consisted entirely of wrist and ankle kissing, part of me does think it’d be hilarious to see how far she’d get into a torrid lesbian affair before realising she was in one.
Because, this is a canon where the major triumph of the first episode also included setting the patient on fire. Lean into it. Give me the ridiculous attempts to single handedly reinvent lesbian sex, or the even more failtastic attempts at research before her literally climatic triumph.
At six half-hour episodes it’s the shortest of my requested canons, and if you’re in the UK it’s streamable on the BBC website through that’s going to run out in like a week (EDIT 22/10 aaaaaand it's gone), or in though those same *cough* other means as Killjoys if you’re not.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Characters requested: Lana Beniko, Theron Shan
I adore these two's friendship *and* I ship it like whoa, so pretty much anything focusing on their relationship (be it shippy or otherwise) would be awesome.
DNW: PC/Lana or PC/Theron
These two. Just these two. They are my squishies and I love them and want to smash their faces together and I really wish they’d gone the ‘if you don’t romance one of them they get with each other’ with them. Sure, I’d never see that route because it takesDoc a lot for me to pass up a BioWare flirt option, but it’d be there. (And to clarify the DNW, I’m fine with a PC flirting with them, or mention of the canonical “we have a connection”/crushage, I just don’t want them to actually hook up with either of them.)
And again, much as I’m getting shipper squee all over you, I ship them because of how they interact in canon, so I really will love friendship fic as much as ship fic if that’s where you go.
Just some random throwing ideas at the wall prompts: missing scenes from when they were stuck on a ship with Jakarro and Dee-Four, or during the five-year timeskip, rebuilding trust after Lana did the thing on Rishi, Lana being a giant nerd and trying to get Theron to discuss Jedi philosophy with her, Theron bringing up the time he killed a Dark Council member in just his jocks and socks, companion wrangling on Oddessen, role reversal AUs for either or both of them (Lana the Jedi and Theron the Imperial spy, Theron the Jedi and Lana the Imperial spy).
If you want to go to the porny place, I am a fan of inappropriate uses of the Force, and I can see them hooking up in a lot of different ways from angry sex to friend sex to sparring as foreplay sex to something really genuine and tender.
If you want to ignore That Thing What Theron Did, please do, though my own take is that he’s double-triple-whatever-agenting and this whole thing can only be redeemed by a verbal slapfight that keeps bringing up Rishi (and ends in makeout) And Also That Haircut Is Stupid.
Finally, if it’s at all helpful, I tend to play female and Lightsidel characters, and I don’t really have a favourite class.
