I think it would have worked better if they'd been able to develop it over an arc the way they'd originally intended.

But instead they did that. Which left me with serious WTF issues and decidedly unsatisfied.

Not to mention that Zack apparently has magical duplication and shapeshifting abilities, since we actually saw the guy Zack supposedly killed get jumped by Gormagon's apprentice with a great big knife at the end of this montage, and not only does the guy not look at all like Zack, ZACK'S IN THE MONTAGE WITH CAM! You'd think she'd notice if he suddenly wasn't there.
