Christmas dinner was okay, not bad, after all, having suffered through more than a few of my father and his wife's attempts at cooking (and then the fortnight of dry, overcooked, leftover turkey sandwich lunches after), I'd hesitate to call any of my mother's cooking bad, but, I don't know, I'm just not really a baked dinner kind of person, especially when compared to last year's menu.
Dessert, however, was awesome, and I'm not just saying that because I made it.
Okay, so maybe I am.
