Five hugs Cal didn't expect or want.

Note: Anyone confused by 5 should read this ficlet by just_3_apples.

1. Trying to ignore the pervasive stench of smoke and burning, she knelt on the floor and clung to the body, shaking it. "Wake up. Please. Mama?"
2. Cheer Bear was going down not dirty. Oh, yes.
3. Callisto nudged Bel's unconscious form with her foot. He'd thank her once the gremlin bite wore off.

4. When Angel shuddered and collapsed against her, spent, Callisto had no idea what was supposed to happen next. It had been rare enough that her previous experiences had even involved a bed, or even a decent amount foreplay. It wasn't until his arm slid around her waist, pulling her back flush against his chest, that she realised that she'd been expecting him to leave, having gotten what he'd come for, instead of, well, this.

Whatever the hell it was.

5. "I think Rory should do it."

"Why?"

"Because she's the only one who couldn't have done it."

"Hey, I couldn't have done it either! Much as I would have liked to."

"Really? Because I'm pretty sure you two do it enough you could have."

"Vampire! The phrase 'cold, dead seed' ring any bells?"

"No, but thank you for the lovely visuals. This mean you're volunteering?"

"No! Do I look insane to you? Don't answer. It was one of you two, one of you should do it."

"Bridge! She's less likely to kill Bridge."

"Not right now, she's not."

"How are you so sure about that?"

"Psychic."

"Oh, right."

"Guys! How about if we all do it? Rush her and give her too many targets to pick one?"

"Are you sure that'll work?"

"No, but do you have any better ideas?"

"No."

"Right, everybody, group hug on three."
